YOUR SMILE SAYS A LOT about you. It can also say a lot about your health, and often in ways you can’t see or don’t realize. At Artistic Smiles, we take an integrated approach to dental health by considering the entire mouth: the airway, the tongue, and the teeth. Changes in our health begin with our very first breath, and the health of our teeth as well as the efficiency of our airway affect every aspect of our life, from our sleep to our digestion to our mental health.
We specialize in airway dentistry by considering the whole person, not just their teeth!

Artistic Smiles specializes in the overall health of your mouth and your airway. An impaired mouth will restrict the amount of airflow to your lungs, leading to health problems. A misaligned jaw, a narrow airway, or problems with the palate can cause serious health issues like sleep apnea, which studies have shown is linked to increased risk of obesity, hypertension, depression, diabetes, anxiety, asthma, and other health problems.
Artistic Smiles takes a broader approach to dentistry that considers the mouth, the jaw, the airway, and the teeth. Learn why oral health is so important — for both your mental and physical wellbeing.
The best part of what we do at the Artistic Smiles is partner with Airway Institute to offer treatments that are not invasive and are not based on pharmaceuticals. A narrow airway means less oxygen into the lungs, a harder-working diaphragm, and problems like sleep apnea, snoring, exhaustion, weight gain, even depression. By growing the airway over time using patented devices, we are able to help people start breathing better, sleeping better, and improving their overall health.

At Artistic Smiles we are happy to file a courtesy claim with your existing dental insurance plan. As an out of network provider we’re able to work more closely with our patients and offer more options to put them on the best dental plan for their health. A common misconception about dental “insurance” is that it covers all the procedures you need. However, often times insurance companies can have very limited policies that steer providers and you away from options that are truly in your best interest. We believe this can pose a greater risk to your overall health and well-being, because it implies that if it isn’t covered it isn’t a healthier option for you. By being an out of network provider we ensure that we empower our patients with ALL of their options and choices. Although we will work closely with your insurance, providing all necessary paper work and communications, please note that payment is required in full at the time of service. We would be happy to discuss our in-house membership plans and the Care Credit payment options as well. Call or email our office to schedule your appointment today.
